Look over the writing that you did with Mrs. Budreau and Mrs. Tabat. Revise it and work on making it even better.	Spelling is embedded in our novel this week.	We did not have math today because of the Almanac Challenge! Congratulations to our winning team! Lydia, Alexis and Paige were fantastic!	There is no S.S. today.	Interview your parents. Friday, February 13, 2004 Day 4 26 Push-ups	Read for your goal. Next week we will start reading the greatest adventure story of all time.	Write something fun this weekend. Writing makes you a better student!	We did not have Spelling this week. Next week it will be embedded in our novel.	There is no math homework today! Play some of the games on our math link to keep your skills sharp.	Read pages 228 - 233. Answer question #4 on page 233 and then write a 1/2 to one page analysis of the most important part of this section.	We have Health again on Wednesday. Thursday, February 12, 2004 Day 4 26 Push-ups	Read for your goal.	We worked on our letters today.	There is no Spelling test this week.	We took a CML test today. There is no Math homework.	Read pages 228 - 233. Answer question #4 on page 233 and then write a 1/2 to one page analysis of the most important part of this section. This assignment is due on Tuesday.	There is no health homework today.	Wash your hands! We have lots of sickness floating around our class. Today half a dozen students are out sick!

Friday, February 6, 2004 Day 5 25 Push-ups	Read and record it on your log!	I will collect the "treasure chest" on Monday!	We took the test today.	Complete SMJ page 143.	We will have an partially open book test on Monday. You can use your book to answer the first questions, but you must list the 13 colonies and write the essays without your book. Study the notes, review your note cards, reread the chapter and play the attached game to study.	Read 4-16 and finish the worksheet.	Happy Birthday David and Marilyn!

Thursday, February 5, 2004 Day 4 25 Push-ups	Read for your goal! We are going to start a great book next week!	Complete practice book pages 263 - 264. Finish your "Treasure Chest."	Practice Book pages 265 - 267 are due on Friday. We have a test tomorrow.	Complete the fractions to decimals worksheet.	Write 5 questions - 100, 200, 300, 400 & 500 for the Fun Game. Questions need to come from each section of Chapter 8. Your end of the chapter review is due tomorrow. We will have a partially open book test on Monday. You will need to list the 13 colonies and write the essays without your book. The essays are:1. Describe how each of the three areas of colonies treated the Native Americans around them. 2. Describe how each area used their natural resources. How did these things shape how the people lived?	Read 4-16 and finish the worksheet.

Write a 3-paragraph summary of the 4 pages. Our test on this chapter will be on Friday.	Get a parent signature.	Return your report card!
